Permobil AB acquires Hedemora Adaptation AB
Permobil AB has today acquired Hedemora Adaptation AB. Hedemora Adaptation pursue customization of cars for people with disabilities. It was founded in 1996 and the number of employees runs up to a total of 24 persons. The founders Rickard Undevik and Ove Lund will remain in the company.
- Hedemora Adaptation has successfully built a good market position. Our goal is to integrate Permobil's car adaptation operation with Hedemora Adaptation and thereby become the customer's first choice when buying car adaptions, says Rikard Rönn, head of Permobil's Scandinavian department.
- It is a good day for us at Hedemora Adaptation. We have gotten this far without resources or support from other actors. We are now excited to see what we can achieve from here on after together with Permobil, says Rickard Undevik, CEO and founder of Hedemora Adaptation.

The medical device company Permobil was founded i 1967 and is today one of the world's leadning manufacuterers of powered wheelchairs and operates globally. The car adaptation services started in 1989 and are implemented in Sweden. Permobil has got a turnover of 1,7 billions SEK and has about 700 employees.
